Chicken Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 package JFC IKI SHIRATAKI WHITE (7 oz.), drained & coarsely chopped
  • 3 Dynasty Shiitake, soak, thinly slice
  • 6 cups dashi (soup stock)
  • 2 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced on diagonal
  • 1 tablespoon KIKKOMAN SOY SAUCE
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 8 oz Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast, slivered
Directions:

1. Soak Dynasty Shiitake in 1 cup hot water 30 min.
2. Drain & reserve liquid.
3. Remove & discard shiitake stems; thinly slice shiitake.
4. Combine 6 cups dashi, shiitake & shiitake liquid; add carrots, green onions, celery, JFC IKI SHIRATAKI WHITE (7 oz.), KIKKOMAN SOY SAUCE, pepper in large saucepan.
5. Bring to a boil.
6. Stir in chicken breast meat.
7. Return to a boil.
8. Reduce heat to low, cover & simmer 10 min. or until vegetables are tender.
9. Pour into soup bowls.
