COVID - 19 Mitigation Plan

JFC International Inc. has and will continue to take proactive steps to help ensure our continuing operations and the safety of our employees.

JFC International Inc. is closely monitoring the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers forDisease Control’s (CDC) and is implementing all preventive measures to fight the spread of the COVID-19.

JFC has directed our employees to follow CDC guidelines, both at work and at home, as well as additional measures, including:

  • Refrain from handshakes and keep a distance of at least 6 feet between themselves and others.
  • Wash hands often for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • Cover mouth whenever sneezing or coughing and discarding used tissues immediately.
  • Require face masks to those working on-site.
  • Avoid meeting people face-to-face. Employees are encouraged to use the telephone, online conferencing, e-mail or instant messaging to conduct business as much as possible, even when participants are in the same building.
  • Not to congregate in lunch rooms, pantries, and other areas where people socialize.
  • Stay home if experiencing any flu-like symptoms, except to get medical care. Currently, theCenters for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people with an infectious illness such as the flu remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever (100 degrees F or37.8 degrees C) or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications. Employees who report to work ill will be sent home in accordance with these health guidelines.

JFC has implemented the following at the work place:

  • Implemented COVID-19 facility cleaning procedures.
  • Install Alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
  • Implemented COVID-19 exposure response procedure, coordinated through Head Office, including professional sanitation, employee quarantine requirements, employee and customer notifications and follow up monitoring.
  • Implement various work arrangements in our warehouses and offices to ensure social distancing and avoid any close contact with others.
  • All Business-related air travel has been cancelled.
  • Vendor Ride alongs has been prohibited.
  • Attendance of food shows have been prohibited.
  • Self-quarantine for 14 days if confirmed, or possible, exposure to COVID-19 patient or if traveled to locations that have a level 3 Travel Advisory.
  • Telework has been implemented for all positions that are eligible.
  • Expanded leave policies.

JFC continues to monitor guidelines from the CDC as well as state and federal regulations and update the plan as necessary.
