Black Sesame Brownies

  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ¾ cup raw honey
  • ⅓ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup salt
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a baking 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper or grease it well with oil.
  3. Put the almond flour, cacao powder, and baking powder in a bowl and whisk together well. Melt the coconut oil in the microwave and set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together raw honey, tahini, and salt. Then, whisk in the melted coconut oil. Pour those wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold together well.
  5. Spread the batter into the baking dish. Sprinkle the top with black sesame seeds and sea salt. Bake for 15 or so minutes, until crispy around the edges, but still moist in the center. Take it out and let cool for a little bit. Serve with your favorite ice cream.
