Colorful Soy-wrapper Steamed Dumplings

Ingredients
  • 2 sheets Nagai soyeat pink soy sheet wrap
  • 6 oz. (roughly 1/3 lb.) ground pork
  • ½ of a medium onion
  • 1 Tbsp. potato starch
  • 2 tsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. J-Basket sesame oil
  • ½ tsp. grated ginger
  • a pinch of pepper
Directions
  1. Finely  dice the onion and sprinkle with potato starch until well-coated.
  2. Knead  and mix the ground pork, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and pepper  together. Add in potato starch-coated onions and mix until well  combined.
  3. Cut  each soy sheet into quarters. Divide meat mixture into eighths. Place 1/8 of  the meat mixture on each small soy sheet and fold upwards to encase the meat  on the sides, leaving the top open.
  4. Steam  for 8 to 10 minutes.
