Hoisin Chicken Skewers

  • ½ cup Dynasty Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Nishiki Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. avocado oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Dynasty Sriracha Chili Sauce
  • 1½ lbs chicken thighs (boneless, skinless), seasoned lightly with salt and pepper, cut into cubes for skewers, avocado oil spray
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish
  • J-Basket Roasted White Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • Cooked Nishiki White Rice for serving
  1. In a large bowl, combine the Dynasty Hoisin Sauce, Kikkoman Soy Sauce, Nishiki Rice Vinegar, wine, garlic, avocado oil, and Dynasty Sriracha Chili Sauce and mix well. Remove about 1/3 cup of this mixture and set aside for glazing.
  2. Add the chicken to the bowl and stir well to coat cover and refrigerate. Let sit for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade when ready to cook and thread onto skewers.
  4. If using a BBQ, lightly spray the skewers with avocado oil or grease the BBQ grates. Heat your grill over medium-high heat.
  5. Place the chicken skewers on the grill and cook for about 12 to 15 minutes, until charred and cooked through, rotating every few minutes and glazing with the remaining hoisin mixture a few times throughout cooking.
  6. Serve skewers with any leftover glaze on the side for dipping. Garnish with green onions and J-Basket Roasted White Sesame Seeds. Serve with Nishiki White Rice.
