Honey Sesame Chicken

Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Nishiki Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. J-Basket Organic Sesame Oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. J Basket Premium Roasted White Sesame Seeds
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish
  • Cooked Nishiki White Rice, for serving
Directions
  1. Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with Salt and pepper. Place the flour in a shallow dish, then dredge each piece of chicken in the flour until well coated.
  2. 🍯 In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. 🍯 In a small bowl, whisk together Kikkoman Soy Sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  4. 🍯 Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce over the chicken. Toss to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  5. 🍯 Sprinkle J Basket Roasted Sesame Seeds over the chicken and toss to incorporate.
  6. 🍯 Garnish with chopped green onions and serve over cooked white rice.
