Kung Pao Shrimp Tacos
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/3 cup Dynasty Kung Pao Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Chopped peanuts (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with 1/3 cup Dynasty Kung Pao Sauce and Kikkoman Soy Sauce. Toss to coat and let marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
- While the shrimp are cooking, warm the flour tortillas either in a dry skillet or by wrapping them in a damp towel and microwaving for 30 seconds.
- In each tortilla, add a layer of shredded cabbage and carrots. Place a few cooked shrimp on top of the veggies. Sprinkle with green onions and garnish with fresh peanuts and cilantro.
- Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for an extra squeeze of citrusy freshness.
