Ingredients
  • 1 lb of your favorite macaroni
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 cups extra sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 4 cups smoked gouda, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Dynasty Panko
  • Parsley to garnish
Directions
  1. Boil your pasta, following directions on the package. In a medium pot melt your butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for about 2-3 minutes. You are making a rue here, if you couldn’t already tell. Add some salt and pepper. Slowly pour in your milk, whisking it in until smooth. Heat until thickened. You can stir in your cheeses here to the rue, or just sprinkle it over the pasta, your call.
  2. In a greased medium cast iron skillet pour out your cooked pasta and flatten out nicely. Pour your cream sauce over the pasta covering completely. You can sprinkle cheese over noodles before the sauce, or mix the sauce into the mix, your call.
  3. Throw some butter slices all over the top and coat with panko. A little extra butter never hurt anybody.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until top is nice and crispy. Serve right away.
