Pork Burger with Slaw

Ingredients
  • 1½ lbs. J-Basket Amber Ground pork ⠀
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced ⠀
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated ⠀
  • 1 ½ tsp Dynasty Sesame oil ⠀
  • 1 Tbsp Dynasty Oyster Sauce ⠀
  • ½ tsp kosher salt ⠀
  • ½ tsp black pepper ⠀
  • 4 hamburger buns, optional: use brioche bun.
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix ⠀
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar ⠀
  • 1 tsp Kikkoman soy sauce⠀
Directions
  1. In a large bowl combine the pork, green onions, ginger, 1 tsp sesame oil, kosher salt, black pepper and oyster sauce.
  2. Mix well then form the meat into 4 patties. ⠀
  3. Preheat the grill and grill the burgers turning once until cooked through about 8 minutes. While the burgers are grilling lightly toast the buns on the grill. ⠀
  4. In a medium bowl toss the coleslaw mix with the remaining ½ tsp of sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper if desired. ⠀
  5. Place the burger on top of the buns, top with slaw and serve.
