Pulled Pork Burrito

Cook Time: 7-8 Hours



  • For the Pulled Pork:
  • 2 pounds boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Dynasty Plum Sauce
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Burritos:

  • Large flour tortillas, warmed
  • Cooked white rice
  • Black beans, drained and rinsed
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)
  1. Prepare the Pulled Pork: Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the pork chunks, chopped onion, minced garlic, chicken broth, Dynasty Plum Sauce, ground cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the pork is tender and easy to shred with a fork.
  4. Shred the pork using two forks and mix it with the flavorful sauce in the slow cooker.
  5. Assemble the Pulled Pork Burritos: On each tortilla, spread a layer of cooked white rice, leaving space at the edges for folding. Add a portion of the pulled pork over the rice.Top with black beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges. Enjoy!
