Sesame Crusted Tofu Cubes


Total Time: 20 minutes

  • 1 lb extra firm tofu
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ Tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp J-Basket RoastedWhite + Black Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Dynasty panko
  • Oil for frying
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Dynasty Chili sauce, for serving
  1. Beat the egg in a bowl with a splash of water.
  2. In another bowl mix the sesame seeds with the panko and salt.
  3. Drain the tofu and pat it dry, removing the access moisture then cut into thick slices.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Submerge the tofu into the egg and then the sesame seed mix and set aside. Do this for all the tofu pieces.
  6. Fry the tofu for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve on a plate and top with chopped green onions and a side of Dynasty chili sauce.
