Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1/8 napa cabbage
  • 10 oz thinly sliced pork for shabu shabu
  • 5 oz. carrots
  • 2 stalk of green onion
  • 4 pieces of fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • Mizuna as desired

Broth:

  • 25 Fl. Oz. Kikkoman Unsweetened Soy Milk
  • 3 Fl. Oz. Kikkoman Hon Tsuyu soup base
Directions
  1. Cut the napa cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Cut the green onion diagonally into 1-inch wide pieces. Cut the mizuna into 5-inch lengths. Remove the stems from the shiitake mushrooms and make decorative cuts on the caps. Shave the carrot thinly with a peeler.
  2. Pour the broth ingredients into a pot and heat over medium heat. Once it is heated, add the vegetables and cook until tender, then shabu-shabu the pork and eat. Please adjust the heat and avoid over-boiling the hot pot soup.

We highly recommend the J-Basket rice and ramn noodles for the shabu shabu!
