Temari Sushi

  • Nishiki white rice
  • Nishiki seasoning vinegar
  • Topping such as: raw tuna, raw yellowtail, raw salmon, cucumber, avocado, or any of your favorite / unique topping.
Directions
  1. Prepare sushi rice (Easily make it by mixing cooked Nishiki white rice with Nishiki sushi seasoning vinegar)
  2. Lay a plastic cling wrap on a flat surface. Place thinly sliced, sushi-grade tuna/salmon/halibut in the center of the wrap.
    Can't eat raw fish? No problem! Use smoked salmon, imitation crab, roast beef, avocado, cucumber, or any of your favorite toppings.
  3. Scoop about one heaping tablespoon of sushi rice, and place it directly on top of the topping.
  4. Gather the edges of the plastic wrap upward and twist them tightly. This pressure will mold the rice and the topping into a perfect, firm sphere.
  5. Unwrap the sushi ball carefully and place it on a serving plate. Repeat with different colors and textures to create a variety.
